CJ Cutayne – Surrey Muse

CJ Cutayne is the acclaimed author of Because of the Moon, ‘a funny novel aimed at teens but adults will enjoy the humorous, clever and fast-paced story just as much.’

CJ enjoys travelling and spending time at her cabin near 100 Mile House. Many scenes in her novel are taken from observations made on the route north which passes through many First Nations territories.

She is a long time member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.

At this time, CJ is working on a sequel The Mystery of the Copper Raven, a novel ‘about Jay searching for the tribes missing masks that were stolen during the potlatch abolition’.

CJ lives in Port Coquitlam with her husband and two boys. She was born in New Westminster and attended school in Surrey.
