Janene White is a poet, writer and an emerging drama artist. Her poems and prose have been published in several anthologies. Janene participates in the community through local literary groups, the Hospitality Project and the ESL at the New Westminster Public Library. At this time, Janene is working on a book about her experiences in Saudi Arabia where she lived and worked during the outbreak of the Gulf War. Her creative inspirations include her zany and beloved relatives, pets, nature and her spiritual beliefs, while her artistic influences come from the Renaissance, Robert Bateman, Margaret Atwood and Martin Luther King Jr.
Born in Salmon Arm, B.C., and having lived in Saudi Arabia and Australia, Janene now lives in New Westminster.
