Bonnie Quan Symons is a poet of deep delicate moments who writes all forms of poetry including haiku. Her Quatchi haiku came in the second place for a Quatchi haiku poems contest in the Vancouver Courier. Bonnie has been writing poetry and nonfiction for over thirty-five years, and she has been published in Canada, United States and Australia.

Bonnie moved to Vancouver from Calgary in the 80s, and since then she has been involved in organizing literary, cultural and educational events in the city. She works at the BC Teachers’ Federation in Vancouver while volunteering her time as a member of Pandora’s Collective and Writers International Network (WIN) Canada.
