Heidi Greco – Surrey Muse

Heidi Greco is a poet, novelist, editor, an arts activist, and an occasional instructor. A longtime resident of Surrey, Heidi writes in many genres. Her poems, fiction, reviews, and interviews have been published in books, magazines, and online. Her most recent collection of poems, Practical Anxiety, was brought out in 2018 by Toronto’s feminist press, Inanna Publications. In 2017, Caitlin Press published Flightpaths: The Lost Journals of Amelia Earhart, a novel in verse about the lost aviator. Her novella, Shrinking Violets, won the Ken Klonsky Award in 2011. In 2018, Heidi edited From the Heart of It All, an anthology of writing from Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. Her forthcoming book, Glorious Birds: A Celebratory Homage to Harold and Maude, is soon to be released by Vancouver’s Anvil Press. Due in March, this book takes a light-hearted critical look at a film that’s on Heidi’s list of favourites.
