Patricia A. Donahue – Surrey Muse


Patricia is an author, an educator, a psychotherapist and a sailor. She has published three novels Mighty Orion – Accord (2017), Mighty Orion – Fate (2013) and Mighty Orion – Secrets (2011). Her writings have appeared in academic journals (psychology), and in anthologies, magazines and newspapers. Her several years of teaching at university included course-units in formal and creative writing at the University of British Columbia – Okanagan (Continuing Studies). The showcased author for UBC-O’s Fifth Year Anniversary celebrations, she was also chosen for the Okanagan Literary Arts Award, representing BC’s interior region, in 2012. Patricia has been a presenter/panelist at the Shuswap Writers Festival, the Kamloops Writers Festival, and the Vernon Writers Festival.

Born on the eastern seaboard of Canada, she grew up in a large bilingual family of gregarious storytellers, singers, and adventurers. She has raised three children on her own and is a practicing psychotherapist. She now resides in White Rock, BC.
