Anthony Dalton – Surrey Muse

Anthony Dalton is a writer, scholar and explorer who has combined his passions to create four novels and fourteen books of nonfiction. An award-winning author, he has launched his latest publication, a novel titled ‘The Mathematician’s Journey'(August Words Publishing) in 2016. Working as a photojournalist he has covered assignments in the Arctic, the Falkland Islands, Bangladesh, Norway, throughout the Middle East and many African countries; and, as a former expedition organizer and leader exploring in the Sahara, the deserts of the Middle East and the Canadian Arctic, he has spoken at conferences across Canada, the USA, United Kingdom, Mexico and New Zealand. As well, he has worked at sea as a guest speaker for Smithsonian Journeys, Celebrity Cruises and Princess Cruises. A Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society (FRGS), a Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society (FRCGS), a past national president of the Canadian Authors Association (CAA), Anthony is listed in Canadian Who’s Who. At this time, he ‘lives on Mayne Island, off the coast of British Columbia, with his wife, Penny, and rowdy yellow Labrador — Rufus.’
