Peter Daniels is a painter, an art teacher and an actor who graduated in fine art from Nelson’s Notre Dame University in 1974. He has taught art workshops in different cities of British Columbia, and art classes to grades 8-12 at St. Michael’s University School in Victoria, and later, at Matsqui Correctional Institution in Abbotsford. He also operated a private studio in Surrey between 1981 to 1997; published, distributed and exhibited fine art prints; designed exhibitions and commissioned art during 2004 to 2016. As well, he acts and writes for films. His exhibitions and gallery presentations include Habitat Vancouver (1977), Pre Expo 86 Vancouver (1985), Agora Gallery, Manhattan NY (1997), Long Beach Art Show, Long Beach CA (1997), Winter Olympics, Vancouver (2010), The Vancouver Art Gallery (1981), The Victoria Art Gallery (1981), Gallery on the Lake, Buckhorn ON (1993), The Rubicorn Calgary, Alberta (1993) and Leavensworth and Lynwood Galleries in Washington (1993). Peter was nominated for the Bronfman in Canada in 1999. Since 2000, he works out of his studio in Surrey organizing open houses offline and online to sell his art direct to the public.
