Tony Morris is an academic psychologist turned musician who has in the last three years created 400 tracks on Soundcloud. Many of his tracks have been played on radio stations throughout Europe and by DJs across Europe at club events. He anchors a monthly radio show on 199Radio where he interviews musicians involved in the Glasgow Underground Electronic music scene. Tony describes his music as ‘the deconstruction of the concept of a song using distorted vocals and electronic accompaniment‘. He has collaborated with many musicians including Stanmagendanz and Simon Irvine in Australia, Alfonso Llorente Sardi in Columbia, Gwen Pettigrew in Wales, Darryl Lucas in England, Mu in Scotland, Patrick Shand in Glasgow, Muterial in England, Robert Knote in Germany, Les Rollins USA. One of Tony’s ‘very favorite’ collaborators is Mariam Zohra (and ‘PYRUVICACID’ who made a youTube video of one their songs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtH8uIDdFCI). Tony is a Member of the British Psychological Society and a founder member of its History and Philosophy Section. Over the last 4 decades he has been a teacher, lecturer, accountant, taxi driver and nowadays a full time daydreamer. At the moment his obsession is to improve the quality of sound in his work.
