Cynthia Sharp – Surrey Muse


Cynthia Sharp is an author, screenwriter, poet and educator who is inspired by ‘renewal in nature’ in all the ways she expresses herself. She has published multiple works including a collection of her poems ‘Rainforest in Russet’ and a series she designed for her middle school students titled ‘The Light Bearers in the Sand Dollar Graviton’. Cynthia’s work is used in classrooms in Canada, the U.S. and Scotland, and it has been published and broadcast internationally. The City of Richmond’s 2019 Writer in Residence, Cynthia is a full member of The Writers’ Union of Canada and The League of Canadian Poets.
