Veeno Dewan is a writer, TV producer and filmmaker born in London UK who worked over fifteen years for the BBC and a few years for the independent TV broadcast industry before moving to Canada and settling in Surrey BC. In Canada he has worked for the CTV, Global and the CBC as a Producer and Director. Veeno’s articles have been published by various magazines and newspaper. A graduate of the Simon Fraser University’s Writers Studio, Veeno is working on his first novel, a family saga that spans four continents and a 100 years; and on a short story collection exploring the themes of migration, colonialism, identity, and the notions of home and belonging. Veeno also works as a communications specialist for the BC Government.
