Jacqueline Trieber Willcocks is a writer and poet originally from Calgary AB. She is a graduate of The Writers Studio certification program at SFU. Her poems have appeared in Line and Lens and Emerge 19. A former dancer and current Somatic Healer, her work is decidedly feminine and ruthless in its quest to find truth and beauty in the dark corners of the human experience. She makes her home with her husband and two children on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples–Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations.
At the September 25 gathering of Surrey Muse, Jacqueline will begin the Open Mic session. More on the event is here: september-25-2020
