Linda Xia – Surrey Muse

Linda Xia is an emerging novelist and poet who has just launched her debut novel titled ‘Heir of Blood and Secrets’. her work has been published in various anthologies such as Polar Expressions’ Inkslide and the Poetry Institute of Canada’s The Heart of Solstice. Linda spent her childhood hoping for a letter from Hogwarts or a visit from a Camp Half-Blood satyr but eventually grew tired of waiting. Now, she firmly believes that people can choose to be heroic, and she hopes to inspire young girls to become the heroes of their own stories regardless of where they were born or the color of their skin. When not writing, Linda travels the world, climbs mountains, and (inevitably) gets lost. Her time at Minerva University has taught her that failure is a side effect of living.
