Oath is a poet and a dance artist committed to self exploration through improvisation. She moves between curiosity and chaos, between altered states of wakefulness and dream where the body is the soul’s temple and the dancer longs to drop the mind to reach the divine. A keen student of astrology and occult, Oath has traveled extensively, and she has completed yoga and dance training courses in Thailand, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Guatemala, Costa Rica and United States. Her movement may be described as experimental urban contemporary.
At the February 28 gathering of Surrey Muse, Oath will begin the Open Mic session. More about the event is here: february-28-2020
