Mehtab Purewal is a second-generation settler Indian Canadian who writes and resides in Surrey, BC, predominantly writing short stories and creative non-fiction. Both her creative and academic interests are focused on representing the multifaceted lives of women in the South Asian diaspora by drawing on her own lived and felt experiences as the daughter of Indian immigrants.
