Charlene Kwiatkowski – Surrey Muse

Charlene Kwiatkowski is a writer often inspired by visual art and urban spaces. Her debut poetry chapbook ‘Let Us Go Then’ came out December 2021 with the Alfred Gustav Press. Her work has been published in Arc, Barren Magazine, PRISM international, and elsewhere. In 2020, she won Pulp Literature’s Magpie Award for Poetry. Charlene has a Master’s degree from the University of Victoria in English Literature, and she has worked at Surrey Art Gallery for the past eight years. She lived in Vancouver for almost a decade before recently moving to Coquitlam where she hopes to find poems waiting to be written in unexpected, even suburban places.
